The need to knows...........
We’ve tried to answer the most frequently asked
questions below, but if there’s something we haven’t
covered that you want to know, just give us a shout.
You can call us on 01568 720371 or email Moira at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Is there a minimum stay?
We have a two night minimum stay. Just
enough time to relax before you head back to the real world.
Do you welcome children?
2020 is going to be a bit different for us....to help with social distancing, we'll happily welcome children if you book both tents. Just gather your favourite people together and have the site to yourselves. We add single beds with linens and duvets. You still don't need to bring extra stuff! Otherwise it's adults only.
How many tents do you have?
Glamping should be a deliciously luxurious experience. Part of that means having the feeling it’s just you and the countryside. It’s why we only have two tents and they’re both set well apart. You can luxuriate in the feeling of space and openness you only get when camping and not have to worry about the neighbours! Although it does mean you should book early if you want to be sure of your spot.
What about late availability?
We only have two tents, so we are often fully booked a long way in advance. But if you have a sudden desire to get away from it all or you’ve simply left it until the last minute, don’t despair. We sometimes have late availability or a last minute cancellation, so it’s always worth giving us a call on 01568 720371 or emailing Moira at email@example.com.
What do we need to bring?
We provide bed linen and cosy feather duvets, towels, glasses, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils. All you need to bring are your toothbrush and a good book. The tents do have wood burners but if you are someone who feels the cold, we suggest you pack PJ's and a warm jumper to wear during the evenings. We are happy to provide baskets of logs for the wood burner and/or fire pit for £5 - don't forget the marshmallows!
Can we bring our dog?
We’re sorry, but we don’t allow dogs..... Well, to be more precise, our cats – Holmes & Chamberlain– don’t allow dogs. We’ve put the “no dogs” rule in place to ensure our cats keep speaking to us.
We ask for 21 days clear notice to cancel or amend your booking. We understand that life can sometimes throw up a surprise & we try to be understanding but we are a small site so we can't offer a refund for a late cancellation.
What times do we check in and check out?
You can check in any time after 3pm. We ask you to 'checkout' before 10.30am and we hope you’ll leave feeling rested and relaxed and already planning your next stay with us.
